RewardPort Terms of Service (TOS)
I hope you all have fun when using RewardPort. I can tell you first hand that I giggle and laugh all day when working with our fearless leader. He is fun and he makes what I do fun and I am inspired by him to do my best. We hope you are having fun because, well, we don’t want unhappy subscribers. This site is meant to be fun and we are not trying to cheat you out of anything so you have nothing to worry about. I would not be working here if I didn’t really trust our owner, love it and have fun.
Let’s visit/revisit RewardPort’s Terms of Service or TOS. I’ve been a member of RP for years so I know I didn’t remember exactly what it said. When I started promoting RewardsPort last month I re-read it to be aware of what was in it and be able to speak to it should questions arise.
TOS is written to protect all of us on both sides of the computer. RewardPort wants to keep the user side fair for everyone. We also want to keep our advertisers happy and follow their TOS so that they want to continuing doing business with us. We at RP have rules to follow too. Therefore, we had to come up with a set for all of you to follow if we want to continue to offer you great offers, deals and shopping experiences.
Our TOS is very simple. Take a moment and click RewardPort Terms of Service to read.
Don’t make it difficult…read it to mean literally what it says.
- You must be 18 and from the United States to use RP. We don’t send anything that is not “G” rated but we also aren’t really geared up for anyone not yet 18 either.
- One account per person and one account per IP address. An IP address is the digital numeric code handed off to your computer when you connect to the Internet. In our house we have a cable connection that goes into a wireless router. If we had 100 people in our house all online wirelessly and all logged into RP, every person would have the same IP and we would be able to see that too.
If we had a DSL, Cable, phone and satellite connection and 4 people were on it, there would be 4 different IP addresses. Would THAT make it okay to have 4 accounts in a household? The answer is no because we still have the one account per household rule. How do we know differently? Software. Linking code in URLs. Reports. It is the tools that anyone in the rewards industry uses.
- Please also do not try to “double dip” from your work email address. If you accidentally check email from home while you are at work and follow a link through to the web site, the system may flag you as using the same IP address. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS! It will help keep your account protected.
- You may not refer yourself as a RewardPort member to set up a new account. This action is strictly prohibited and if you are found trying to earn referral points by creating additional accounts with different email addresses, all of your accounts will be suspended and your points forfeited.
SIMPLY PUT, do not refer yourself and set up a new account. We see that too.
- As a member of RewardPort.com, you agree not to abuse RewardPort.com. This includes, but is not limited to, using multiple accounts, attempting to earn points through cheating and/or fraudulent methods, and tampering with the links used in order to improperly earn points on RewardPort.com. All offers on RewardPort.com are to be completed one-time only unless otherwise stated in the offer. RewardPort.com reserves the right to terminate any RewardPort.com Member’s account if RewardPort.com believes that the member has violated any part of this agreement. As a result of termination for the TOS violation, all points are forfeited immediately, and the member can no longer earn or spend points on RewardPort.com will be the sole determiner in deciding if a RewardPort.com member’s account violated this agreement. All account terminations are final and irreversible.
- The hardest part of being a site owner is being the sheriff. We don’t like having to terminate accounts but it happens. We are striving hard to keep the site fair for all of the honest users. We also want to make sure that we are protecting our advertisers from fraud so that we can continue rewarding our subscribers.
- Keep your account active and earn at least one (1) point every six months (if you feel you can not accomplish this for any reason please let us know).
We appreciate honesty above all & if you feel you have violated the TOS, please contact us. We will work to find an acceptable remedy and give you the best resolution we can. Remember, we do appreciate our subscribers. We don’t have a desire to do anything except to help you have a great experience at RP. We will thank you for letting us know!
